Biography

A Data-Driven Leader for Youth Empowerment

With a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Nairobi, Martin brings a data-driven, strategic approach to youth empowerment and organizational leadership. His academic background enables him to design programs that are evidence-based, measurable, and impactful.

Martin's leadership philosophy centres on inclusivity and collective action. He believes that the diversity of Africa's youth is its greatest strength, and that by bridging divides — whether ethnic, religious, or socioeconomic — young people can build a more just and prosperous continent.

Under his stewardship, YATBA has grown to reach over 10,000 young leaders across 47 counties in Kenya, delivering more than 200 community-driven projects. Martin's strategic vision continues to guide YATBA's expansion across East Africa and beyond.

Martin is passionate about mentorship, civic engagement, and environmental stewardship. He actively mentors young professionals and students, encouraging them to take ownership of their communities and lead with integrity and purpose.
